I'm crazy like that

I'm telling you right now packing for travelling is not fun. Take this as fact.
Packing for a  holiday is all like "Ooh how many pairs of heels can I fit in my suitcase? Will 6 bikinis be enough for a long weekend?".

Somebody tell me how I'm supposed to pack for 4 seasons in what I can only describe as a large schoolbag? I've spent the last week literally wrestling (and I'm not using that term loosely) with my rucksack. However, calm has decended and I have accepted that I will have to quarter my things.
Two pairs of denim shorts is overdoing it.

Asides from wrestling I've actually had an awesome weekend with some of my besties. I won't bore you with the details but I went out on Saturday. Like, out out, clubs and creepy men and getting in at 5am kinda out {HIGH 5!!!}.  Then I spent Sunday AND Monday with my 3 little possums eating and drinking ourselves into a food coma, in the sunshine, squished on a picnic blanket in pyjamas. Glorious. Still got a food baby.

That's what's up.

I got tonsilitis this week {crummy start to the week} and then had a tantrum this morning {which p.s ...aren't they supposed to go away when you're like...18?} but my mum just laughed at me and then we went for a cycle and I always feel good after a cycle.

I hope I'm this relaxed when I'm away.

Then again I'd also like to be like these pair.

AMEN to that sistas.

Here's to the good life.

Don't know what to say, the nerves have well and truly kicked in. 5 weeks today and I'll be on a plane heading to the other side of the atlantic. It's that time where I'm maybe seeing some people for the last time before I go. It's that thing where normaly it's ok if I don't see them but when you know in a few weeks you can't...y'know?
It's officially crazy time, patiently waiting for 'panic time' to creep up.

This pretty much sums up what I'm feeling right now so I don't need to go into it
{y'get me?}
SO, other than my worrying ramblings, my beautiful new rucksack came in the post the other day, narrowly dodging a horrific disaster as my dad ran to chase down a van when he realised he'd signed for the wrong package {in unison...PHEEEW!!!}.
 I'd just like to add that my dad's a pre-tty laid back kinda guy and seldom runs, if ever, so lets all silently thank him.
It's an 80L which should be more than enough but I'm staring at it right now not so sure how many shoes I'ma be able to squeeze in.

I've found myself listening to One Republic's 'Good Life' waaay too much which makes me so so SO excited for the next year.
